If so, you might be the ideal candidate to join our global executive talent acquisition team to work with the most senior population within Microsoft.
You will lead a team of international Market Aligned Executive Recruiters, who drive our approach to external identification, engagement and deepen our knowledge of the competitive landscape. These individuals are well-connected into the external ecosystem and comfortable driving and owning the external sourcing strategy for senior level talent within Microsoft. This opportunity will allow you to be innovative in your approach to map and connect with the external marketplace and develop sourcing strategies to target and assess top executive talent for today and tomorrow.
As a Senior Executive Talent Acquisition Manager – Market Aligned in you will lead executive recruiting activities for a range of business groups including our commercial, engineering, and corporate function organizations business demand requires it. This role will be based from our London hub with a minimum requirement of three days in the office per week.

Responsibilities
- Decision Making, the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. This includes the ability to define, diagnose, and determine an appropriate resolution, recommendation, or decision while considering alternatives and factors (e.g., resources, costs, tradeoffs).

- Systems Thinking, the ability to analyze and recognize how a system's parts interrelate and how sub-systems work overtime within the context of larger systems. This includes the ability to view systems with a broad perspective and identify overall structures, patterns, and cycles.
- You will lead company wide conversations to address broad hiring issues and talent gaps for business groups’ long-term talent needs. You’ll also develop a compelling message that conveys Microsoft’s career opportunities.
- By owning the candidate experience, you’ll prepare them for the next phase of the hiring process while proactively identifying company-wide trends that may adversely affect them. You’ll also structure and set multi-year talent scouting strategies, and improve the quality and breadth of the talent pool across the industry, business group, or area.
- You will identify systemic talent issues and ensure the right assessment frameworks and screening tools are in place. You’ll also hold the organization accountable for maintaining candidates’ qualifications and status in the appropriate systems, and ensure standard procedures are being followed throughout the company.
- You will oversee the early part of the hiring process for complex or high-level candidate searches, ensure candidate needs are met, and develop socialization strategies to balance the client’s needs. You’ll also present businesses and executives with talent gaps, hiring needs, and market and channel insights to recommend and drive hiring plans.
- As a manager, you will help employees develop skills through mentorship and other means, while also establishing performance expectations and ensuring fair and equal treatment. You’ll also identify needs and set priorities to drive project execution, and partner with other teams on related deliverables.
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND highly experienced in talent acquisition (e.g., recruiting, sourcing), HR experience, or industry experience related to role OR equivalent experience.
- Specialised track record of success gained in Executive Sourcing or Executive Recruiting
- Experienced as a People Manager / Team Supervisor
Additional or preferred qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND extensive talent acquisition experience (e.g., recruiting, sourcing), HR experience, or industry experience related to role OR Master's Degree AND talent acquisition experience (e.g., recruiting, sourcing), HR experience, or industry experience related to role OR equivalent experience.
- Technology sector experience
- Experienced gained in large scale matrixed organizations also beneficial
