The S&F Director, US & Global Ice Cream for Mars Wrigley will develop and support the deployment of the Mars Wrigley Global Ice Cream Value Creation Plan, playing a key role to help refine the strategic vision, make dynamic resource allocation decisions, and determine successful execution of the value creation plan. As a member of the Global and US Ice Cream Leadership team, this role provides expert Finance business partnering to the development and implementation of the business strategies and change initiatives. The position reports directly to the GM Ice Cream USA with dotted line into the North American CFO and Global business development leader. This role will be a member of the North American Regional Finance Leadership Team responsible for driving the finance and talent agenda for the region. This highly visible position will be filled by a candidate with exceptional drive and energy, who has strong analytical skills, the ability to turn data into action, process management capabilities, and the organizational agility to influence without authority.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s Degree required and MBA preferred.
  • The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing multiple areas of the P&L within large organizations across multiple levels of the organization (7+ years of experience).
  • Experience within a finance leadership role is preferred.
  • Experience within the CPG, Food/Beverage industry is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and motivate all levels within the business to align & deliver objectives.
  • Strong data visualization/presentation skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau) strongly preferred.
  • Strong strategic thinking, execution discipline, and results orientation.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Refinement and deployment of value creation plan to deliver global strategic ambition: Assess Financial roadmap of the global Ice Cream value creation plan making refinements, as necessary, based on that performance and continuing to identify future opportunities for additional value creation including geographic expansion, portfolio evolution, and business model deployment. Build strong partnership with various Regions across Mars Wrigley segment and ensure alignment with Regional / Segment Value Creation Plan.

  • Business partnering: Business partners performance management, delivering insights from the linkages between supply operational performance/KPIs and financial results for the US Ice Cream business. Develop recommendations for key opportunity areas for improvement and drive prioritization discussions. Bring a continuous improvement and efficiency mindset to the delivery of the on-going performance measurement tools. Provide support to drive cost/cash efficiency, support multi-year inventory strategies and overheads management. Ensure supporting processes and tools are fully leveraged in support of the segment’s financial forecasts and operating plans.
  • Global Ice Cream Initiatives: Lead the financial assessment and recommendation of global Ice Cream initiatives including capital expenditures, geographic expansion, and potential new business model deployments. Assess internal and external supply options with manufacturing team. Evaluate different business model based on market capability and maturity.

  • Governance and Reporting: Ensure accurate and insightful financial reporting of the global and US Ice Cream business, as well as ownership and delivery of Global and US Ice Cream KPIs.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all US locations listed within the job posting:USD 169,840.00 - USD 233,530.00
