Job Description:

The Bagger Relief plays a pivotal operational and leadership role on the packaging line, providing dynamic support and direction to the bagging team to ensure seamless production flow. As the primary point of contact when issues arise in the bagger room, you will troubleshoot operational challenges, assist with equipment changeovers, and step in to cover outages across shifts. This role is essential for driving packaging efficiency, maintaining safety and quality standards, and keeping our production lines running smoothly.

What Are We Looking For?

Essential Requirements:

• Proven Packaging/Manufacturing Experience: Hands-on experience operating or supporting high-speed bagging, packaging, or manufacturing machinery.
• Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to act as the first line of defense during equipment downtime or operational disruptions.
• Team Leadership & Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to guide, support, and step in for team members across various operational needs and shift coverages.
• Commitment to Safety & Quality: Rigorous adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and workplace safety protocols.

What Will Be Your Key Responsibilities?

• Lead and Support the Bagger Team: Provide immediate operational leadership and hands-on assistance across the bagger room to maintain target throughput and shift goals.
• Act as Primary point of contact: Serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving line stoppages, equipment faults, or process deviations in the bagger area.
• Execute Line Changeovers: Assist and coordinate efficient, safe packaging changeovers to minimize downtime between product runs.
• Provide Outage & Shift Coverage: Step in seamlessly to cover operator absences, planned outages, and peak relief windows to ensure continuous line operations.
