Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
Regional Reporting Oversight: Oversee and review the month-end reporting for your specific regions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Financial Control: Ensure all financial controls are operational, documented, and adhered to across the business to mitigate risk.
Technical Guidance: Act as a subject matter expert by providing technical accounting guidance rooted in an excellent understanding of IFRS.
Team Leadership: Manage and coach a small team, taking responsibility for their performance management, development, and work review.
Process Automation: Identify opportunities to use automation and "big data" to improve existing processes and ways of working across the finance function.
Statutory Compliance: Oversee the preparation and filing of local statutory accounts for your assigned regions.
What You’ll Need to Thrive
Our ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in some of these areas and curiosity to grow in others:

Analytical Rigour: Experience using big data to solve complex financial problems and a desire to implement automated solutions.
Communication Skills: The ability to distil complex accounting information into clear, understandable insights for non-finance stakeholders.
Leadership Presence: Experience managing and coaching team members, with a positive, 'can-do' attitude and the ability to influence at all levels.
System Knowledge: Experience with NetSuite is considered a significant bonus.
