Job Description

Camunda is the leader in enterprise agentic automation, orchestrating complex business processes, including high-value knowledge work, across agents, people, and systems. By creating production-ready, enterprise-grade agents with built-in governance, Camunda uniquely delivers trusted AI agents for business-critical processes. Over 700 leading innovators like Atlassian, ING, and Vodafone, rely on Camunda to slash time-to-value from months to days, boost operational efficiency, and elevate customer experiences. Camunda was named a Visionary in the inaugural 2025 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Business Orchestration and Automation Technologies (BOAT).

As a fully remote, global company, we’re rewriting the rules of modern business. Named GP Bullhound’s 2024 Top 100 Next Unicorn list, certified as a Great Place to Work, and recognized by Flexa for true flexibility, we’re growing fast and looking for top talent to join our team. If you’re excited to do meaningful work and make real impact, keep reading, this role could be the one you’ve been waiting for.

The Opportunity

As Camunda grows past the $100M ARR mark, our Product Marketing team is defining and leading the Business Process Orchestration and Automation (BOAT) category. Within this team, Solutions Marketing is where our platform story meets the real world: translating Camunda's capabilities into vertical-specific value propositions that resonate with enterprise buyers in Healthcare, Logistics, and Financial Services.

We are looking for a Manager, Solutions Marketing to lead this function. This is a player-coach role: you will manage a team of Solutions Marketing Specialists while also directly contributing to strategy, content, and go-to-market execution. You will own the vision for how Camunda shows up in our priority verticals, ensuring that every narrative, asset, and campaign speaks the language of the industry it targets.

This is a high-visibility, high-impact role. You will work closely with Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Growth to ensure Camunda's vertical go-to-market motions are sharp, differentiated, and generating pipeline. You will present at industry events, shape our competitive positioning within each vertical, and act as the strategic link between what our platform can do and what enterprise buyers in these industries actually need.

What You'll Do

Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead and develop a team of Solutions Marketing Specialists, each focused on a priority vertical (Healthcare, Logistics, Financial Services).

  • Set the strategic direction for Solutions Marketing: define quarterly priorities, establish quality standards for vertical content, and ensure alignment with broader Product Marketing and company goals.

  • Coach team members on messaging, positioning, content development, and stakeholder management.

  • Hire and onboard new team members as the function grows.

Vertical Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Own the overarching go-to-market strategy for Camunda's priority verticals, ensuring each vertical has a clear narrative, differentiated positioning, and a defined buyer journey.

  • Translate Camunda's agentic orchestration platform positioning into industry-specific value propositions that resonate with C-level executives, technical architects, and operational leaders.

  • Identify and prioritise the use cases, pain points, and competitive dynamics within each vertical that create the strongest entry points for Camunda.

  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to ensure vertical narratives are grounded in real platform capabilities and aligned with horizontal product messaging.

Content and Enablement

  • Oversee and contribute to the creation of high-impact vertical content: industry solution briefs, white papers, pitch decks, customer stories, competitive positioning guides, and event presentations.

  • Equip Sales and Customer Success teams with the tools and knowledge they need to have credible, industry-specific conversations with buyers.

  • Develop and deliver enablement sessions, including onboarding content, SKO presentations, and ongoing competitive intelligence briefings for each vertical.

Demand Generation and Market Presence

  • Partner with Growth and Field Marketing to design and execute vertical-specific campaigns, ABM plays, and digital activations that generate qualified pipeline.

  • Plan and deliver industry webinars, virtual events, and conference sessions. Act as a presenter and spokesperson for Camunda at key industry events.

  • Deep dive into market trends, competitive positioning, and customer needs within each vertical to identify white space and inform the strategic roadmap.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the voice of the vertical customer internally: bring industry feedback, market intelligence, and competitive dynamics into Product Marketing strategy and product roadmap discussions.

  • Work with Sales and ADR teams to ensure industry-specific leads and opportunities progress effectively through the pipeline.

  • Collaborate with Partner Marketing where vertical and partner motions intersect, ensuring joint value propositions reflect industry-specific outcomes.

What You Bring

Essential Experience

  • 7+ years in B2B technology marketing, with at least three years focused on solutions marketing, vertical marketing, or industry-specific go-to-market roles in a SaaS or enterprise software environment.

  • 2+ years of people management experience, including coaching and developing marketing professionals.

  • Demonstrable experience building vertical go-to-market strategies and industry-specific value propositions that have driven measurable pipeline and revenue impact.

  • Deep familiarity with at least one of the following industries: Healthcare, Logistics/Supply Chain, or Financial Services. Working knowledge of a second vertical is a strong advantage.

  • Experience presenting and leading sessions at industry events, webinars, and conferences. Comfortable as an external-facing spokesperson.

  • Strong content creation skills: you can write a compelling industry solution brief, sharpen a vertical pitch deck, or develop an event narrative with minimal direction.

Strong Advantage

  • Experience in the process orchestration, workflow automation, BPM, or adjacent enterprise software category.

  • Familiarity with agentic AI, AI orchestration, or enterprise AI governance, and the ability to translate these concepts for industry and business audiences.

  • Prior experience in a high-growth scale-up or post-Series C technology company where vertical go-to-market was a primary growth lever.

  • Understanding of the enterprise buyer journey for complex platform deals, including how industry-specific use cases and reference customers influence procurement decisions.

Skills and Ways of Working

  • Exceptional communication and storytelling: you can distill complex technical concepts into clear, motivating narratives for diverse industry audiences.

  • Strong people leadership: you get energy from developing others and building a team culture of high standards and mutual support.

  • High commercial awareness: you think in terms of pipeline, revenue impact, and vertical market share, not just marketing outputs.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration. You operate comfortably across product, sales, demand gen, field marketing, and alliances.

  • Self-directed and organised, with the ability to balance hands-on execution with strategic team leadership without losing quality in either.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to move quickly in a fast-growing, fully remote environment.

  • Willingness to engage with and use the Camunda platform as part of the role.
