Inflobox Design Specialist

Job Description

We operate a hybrid model of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home, please only apply if you are comfortable with this arrangement.

Must hold or be able to achieve SC-level Security Clearance.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Infoblox Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide technical leadership, design authority, and delivery assurance across DDI solutions within large-scale enterprise environments.

What you’ll be doing

• Support the Enterprise Architect and Act as the technical authority for Infoblox DDI solutions across design, implementation, and support
• Produce and review high- and low-level designs (HLD/LLD) aligned to customer requirements
• Lead deployment, migration, and upgrade activities for Infoblox platforms
• Provide troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex DDI issues
• Ensure designs meet security, resilience, and compliance standards
• Support customer engagement, including workshops and technical governance forums
• Collaborate with network, security, and cloud teams to integrate DDI into wider architectures
• Drive Continuous improvements and evolution of the DDI Services.

Essential Skills / Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Infoblox services (NIOS, Grid, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, Discovery and Reporting
• Experience of other DDI Solutions / Services such as Microsoft DHCP and DNS.
• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale DDI solutions
• Experienced in Network Design / IP Design / Schemas.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (BGP, routing, switching, firewalls)
• Experience with DNS security (DNSSEC)
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and design artefacts
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Desirable Skills / Experience

• Infoblox certification (e.g. CDCA, CDTA, CDNE)
• Experience of working within secure contracts and regulated Environments. RPP etc.
