Salary: £51,772 + DOE

Job Description:

The Technology and Capability Project Management team manages the project portfolio across the whole of the Technology & Capability Delivery (TCD) team. This role will involve a collection of customer funded and collaborative projects for a range of internal and external stakeholders with the aim of developing Market leading products or manufacturing capabilities

Core duties:

  • Lead the delivery of complex R&D projects, driving progress against integrated schedules and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Inspire and coordinate cross-functional teams to translate innovative ideas into real outcomes that create measurable impact for the business.
  • Oversee project finances, ensuring resources are effectively managed and investments deliver maximum value.
  • Act as the key customer interface, securing the budgets and commitments needed to achieve successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with the supply chain, ensuring partner deliverables enable the advancement of critical research projects.
  • Apply robust governance and control, operating in line with LCM processes and the Technology Capability Delivery project management framework.

Essential Skills:

  • Understanding of industry practices in the application of PM including Knowledge in the theory and application of Project Control, Risk management, Resource Management processes and tools
  • Proven ability to influence and lead teams, building collaboration across functions to achieve meaningful outcomes for the business.
  • Ability to critically analyse problems and deploy appropriate PM techniques to resolve them
  • Self-motivated and dependable, comfortable working autonomously while adapting quickly to evolving priorities in a dynamic environment

The Technology Capability Delivery team manages innovative R&D projects advancing airframe manufacturing, delivering internal and funded programmes.
