Location: Warton, Hybrid, 2 days per week on site

Job Description:

You will develop and maintain data and BI solutions, including ETL pipelines, data models, and reporting outputs. Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, while supporting ongoing system enhancements and issue resolution.

Core duties:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, and developers to deliver BI solutions aligned to business needs
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable data models
  • Develop and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, cleanse, and transform data across systems
  • Write and optimise SQL queries to support reporting and data analysis
  • Deliver solutions within Agile environments, contributing to sprints, stand-ups, and Jira tracking
  • Ensure quality through unit testing, peer reviews, and structured release processes

Essential Skills:

  • Experience building end-to-end data pipelines, including ETL, data modelling, and reporting
  • Hands-on use of SQL Server, SSIS, TIBCO Data Virtualisation, and Qlik Replicate for data integration
  • Experience working with data from enterprise systems including SAP and ERP platforms
  • Use of Tableau and Cognos to deliver reporting and business insights
  • Experience working with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery and structured development lifecycles

The Air Data and Analytics team:

The Air Data & Analytics team delivers enterprise-wide data solutions, integrating data from multiple sources including Data Warehouses, SAP, and ERP systems across multiple business platforms. Operating in a fast-paced, Agile environment, the team focuses on building and maintaining ETL processes, data models, and reporting solutions using tools such as Tableau and Cognos. Working closely with senior stakeholders, the team transforms complex data into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
