About the Role

We are APM Terminals, and we are looking for a Pricing & Commercial Analyst to support the commercial performance of our terminal operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing pricing structures, commercial quotations, and contracts to ensure revenue optimization, tariff consistency, and effective execution of commercial processes. You will act as a key link between Commercial, Operations, and Finance, ensuring that commercial decisions are data-driven, operationally viable, and financially sound.

This role plays an important part in strengthening revenue governance, enhancing transparency in pricing and contracts, and supporting informed decision-making across the business. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and contribute directly to the terminal’s financial and commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update tariff structures for terminal services including containers, RoRo, breakbulk, and logistics
  • Prepare, validate, and manage commercial quotations in alignment with approved pricing frameworks
  • Define and apply pricing guidelines, including discounts, floor rates, and commercial conditions
  • Support commercial negotiations through detailed data analysis and pricing insights
  • Draft, review, and manage commercial contracts, ensuring alignment with approved terms and conditions
  • Monitor contract renewals, expirations, and amendments, maintaining an accurate and centralized contract repository
  • Analyze volumes, revenues, and customer performance to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking
  • Identify revenue leakage risks and margin improvement opportunities through structured analysis
  • Produce and maintain commercial KPI reports to support management visibility and decision-making
  • Support RFQs and RFPs with pricing models and commercial scenarios
  • Provide basic market and competitive insights to inform commercial strategy
  • Coordinate with Commercial and Operations teams to ensure service feasibility and pricing alignment
  • Act as an internal reference point for pricing-related topics within the terminal

What We Are Looking For

  • Continuous improvement mindset: we are looking for someone who brings a strong mindset of continuous improvement – someone who is naturally curious, committed to solving problems at the root, and driven to make things better every day
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in pricing, commercial analysis, or similar business-facing analytical roles
  • Advanced Excel skills required; experience with Power BI or similar tools is an advantage
  • Prior exposure to logistics, port operations, or industrial services environments is desirable
  • Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to work confidently in a multinational environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with sound commercial and financial judgment
  • High attention to detail combined with the ability to work across functions and influence stakeholders
  • Proactive working style with a clear focus on results and business impact.
