Qualification: Master's degree (or equivalent) in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering

Year of Experience : preferably at least 2-3 years or PhD degree

AIRBUS INDIA is looking for an innovative Aeroacoustics Engineer to join the Aerodynamics team based in Bangalore, India . We are a group of passionate, highly skilled and dynamic aerodynamics engineers. It is part of the Flight Physics Department within Airbus India Engineering.

Flight Physics Mission

Flight Physics delivers optimized overall aircraft solutions for the customer preferred aircraft through driving and developing world class Flight Physics solutions at the core of Airbus aircraft architecture and integration. We are the actors in shaping the future of sustainable aviation.

Brief Description :

• You will be involved in integrating multiple noise sources and design solutions in order to achieve achievable aircraft noise levels and footprint around the airport.
  
• You will be required to support top level aircraft requirements definition, noise status during development and aircraft noise monitoring. You will be expected to ensure aeroacoustics specifications are answered in an integrated manner by developing and maintaining technologies, methods and skills.
  
• The team takes part in all stages of aircraft design: R&T, preliminary design, detailed design, product improvement and in service support.
  

Your boarding pass:

• A passion for aircraft with 2+ years of experience
  
• Strong background in aeroacoustics and noise propagation
  
• Strong background in flight operations and performance
  
• Basic programming skills (Python / Matlab)
  
• An inquisitiveness to understand, challenge and improve
  
• Aptitude for complex problem solving and innovation
  
• Overall understanding of data analytics, Machine learning
  
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
  
• High focus on team work and collaboration
  
• Willingness to travel internationally for longer duration
