AIRBUS offer more than 70 vacancies for our full-time graduate program in Spain - #Discover II 2026/2027 - Starting date 5th October 2026 until 1st October.

We are looking for recent graduates from different disciplines interested in developing their professional career in the aeronautical sector. The current context demands different ways of looking, thinking and relating.

The selection process will be during April 2026 until July 2026.

What does this internship consist in?

Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed an exclusive program (Discover) designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.

You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to Discover the skills most in demand today. It will be combined with an 11-month internship at Airbus in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background.

The start of the internship will be in early October 2026, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.

Internship Job Description:

• AI Innovation : Play a key role in deploying AI within our Air Power business line. You'll support the implementation of exciting AI use cases, revolutionizing our processes, methods, tools, and data (PMTD) domain.
  
• Strategic Excellence : Be part of our Excellence@Engineering 2.0 project, a strategic ecosystem integrating all engineering initiatives into three pillars aligned with our "Fueling the Future" vision:
  
  • Technology Readiness: Prepare for tomorrow's challenges today.
    
  • Boost Efficiency: Streamline and optimize our engineering processes.
    
  • People: Foster a collaborative and innovative environment.
    
• Engineering Tools Development : Contribute to building and enhancing our engineering tools. You'll develop software features that support aircraft design and validation, directly impacting our development capabilities.
  

Knowledge to be acquired by the student:

• Experience with AI deployment and implementation in a business context.
  
• Knowledge of AI use cases specific to the aerospace industry, particularly in processes, methods, tools, and data (PMTD) domains.
  
• Insight into large-scale strategic projects like Excellence@Engineering 2.0.
  
• Understanding of how engineering initiatives are integrated and aligned with business visions.
  
• Hands-on experience in developing software features for engineering tools.
  
• In-depth understanding of aircraft development processes.
  
• Experience working in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment.

As a successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• Educational Background : degree in Engineering, preferably in Aeronautics, Industrial, Telecommunications, or Software Engineering.
  
• Aerospace Knowledge : Basic understanding of aircraft development processes, industry standards, and best practices.
  
• Problem-Solving : Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  
• Adaptability : Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and processes.
  
• English Proficiency : Mastery of the English language is essential for clear and effective communication, both written and verbal, in a global and technical work (desired C1 level)
  
• Project Management Skills : Ability to manage tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
  
• Team Spirit : A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and commitment to working collaboratively with others to achieve common goals.
  
• Communication skills. Ability to communicate in a transnational and transversal environment.
