CONTEXT OF THE POSITION

The job holder is mainly responsible for using the customs auxiliary declaration system to process daily customs formalities of flying materials and non-flying materials, ensuring compliance and timely.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

Process Standardization & Regulatory Compliance

• Operational Standards: In alignment with KPI, independently manage the end-to-end customs declaration process, ensuring strict adherence to customs regulations and internal management standards.

• Continuously Optimise: Possess a strong continuous improvement mindset, constantly seeking opportunities to streamline customs workflows and enhance efficiency.

• Regulatory Watch: Keep abreast of the latest customs policy changes and provide timely feedback and actionable insights to the customs team.

• Audit Readiness: Support management during official customs audits. Support continuous compliance with Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) standards and business healthcheck on an annual basis.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Special Projects

• New Business Implement: Engaged in the project planning phase to understand business requirements, and successfully execute operational workflows during the implementation phase.

• Inter-departmental Customs Support: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customs operations.

• Airbus Global Teams Collaboration:Coordinate with global teams to address and rectify customs documents issues.

Systems, Data Management & Customs logbook data discharge

• Operational Data Maintain: Maintain commodity item additions in the customs logbook and trade management system.

• SAP: Expertly in querying and retrieving required business data within SAP.

Daily Operations & Broker Management

• HS Classification: Classify customs tariff numbers (HS Code) for accurate declaration.

• Documentation Review & Discrepancy Resolution: Validate customs declaration files and supporting documents provided by internal departments and external suppliers (brokers/freight forwarders). Implement a rigorous tracking mechanism to ensure end-to-end corrective actions.

• Broker & Forwarder Direction: Issue clear clearance instructions and hand over complete documentation packages to customs brokers and freight forwarders.

• Cargo Inspection: Independently facilitate physical customs inspections, ensuring smooth cargo clearance.

• File Archiving: Archived all customs documentation in a timely manner and in strict compliance with company management policies.

• CBA Gate Pass: Customs gate pass application in Jin Guan II system.

QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENT

Above bachelor degree and CET-4 .

Minimum 1 year of experience in customs or import/export business.

Have basic knowledge of SAP system, trade management system and customs single window.

Have basic knowledge regarding HS code classification.

Have basic understanding with air/ sea transportation flow.

Have a strong sense of responsibilities.

Be fluent oral and written in English.

Be able to work under pressure.

Have good interpersonal skill and give sense.

Have good analysis and synthesis skills.
