About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Telecom Billing Specialist with strong expertise in enterprise telecom billing platforms and end-to-end revenue lifecycle management. The role focuses on supporting, enhancing, and stabilising billing solutions operating in complex, high-availability or cloud-based environments, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and effective integration across systems.

What you’ll do

Support and manage rating, billing, invoicing, Accounts Receivable, and billing journaling processes
Perform business analysis, design, development, and ongoing maintenance using Java-based batch modules, integration services, and API integrations, or equivalent cloud technologies
Design, develop, and troubleshoot containerised integration adapters and system interfaces across the application stack
Monitor and support billing cycles, batch executions, and financial journal postings to ensure timely and accurate outcomes
Investigate and resolve billing data discrepancies, mediation issues, and potential revenue leakage scenarios
Carry out log analysis, incident management, and root cause analysis in production environments
Perform database and application-level debugging across Oracle databases, middleware, and integration layers
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, finance, and business stakeholders to maintain billing accuracy and system stability

Who you are

An individual with a strong understanding of telecom billing and revenue lifecycle processes
Experienced in working with enterprise telecom billing systems
Proficient in Java development for batch processing, integrations, and APIs, or relevant cloud technologies
Highly skilled in PL/SQL, including stored procedures, packages, performance tuning, and data validation
Comfortable administering Unix/Linux environments with shell scripting (ksh/bash) for batch orchestration and monitoring
Analytical and detail-focused, with the ability to investigate complex data and system issues
A clear communicator, able to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams
