About this role
We are seeking a Global IoT Service Expert to lead the in-life service relationship for Vodafone’s most strategic global IoT customers. This role acts as a trusted advisor, owning the service end to end at account level and working with multiple teams to deliver strong customer outcomes. You will provide IoT service management, governance, and continuous improvement across complex, large-scale solutions, work with senior stakeholders, shape service strategy, and ensure contractual, operational, and customer experience outcomes are consistently delivered.
What you’ll do
- Own the end-to-end IoT service experience for assigned global customers.
- Act as the main service contact for customers and build strong working relationships.
- Lead service reviews and quarterly business reviews with customers.
- Provide service governance across incident, change, and problem processes.
- Own escalations and service-related decisions.
- Use service data and trends to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
- Drive continuous service improvements together with operational and technical teams.
- Ensure services are delivered in line with agreed SLAs, KPIs, and contractual commitments.
- Work with commercial teams to support customer growth and service adoption.
Who you are
- Fluent in English and proficient in German.
- Experienced in service ownership, service delivery, or customer-facing roles within complex B2B or enterprise environments, ideally in IoT or technology services.
- Comfortable working with senior customer stakeholders and internal leadership teams.
- ITIL v3 Foundation certified, with practical experience applying service management frameworks.
- Confident in coordinating projects and virtual teams within a matrix organisation.
- Technically knowledgeable across IoT operations and service management, including WAN, LAN, SDN, security, and mobile network technologies.
- Familiar with managed services and end-to-end service governance models.
- Analytical and data-driven, able to interpret complex datasets and clearly explain service performance and trends.
- Collaborative and solution-oriented, comfortable working in demanding, fast-paced environments.
- Experienced in vendor and partner management, as well as cross-functional collaboration.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience, with exposure to IoT modules, LPWA technologies, and mobile networks.
