This is an exciting opportunity to learn about our business, work alongside experienced colleagues, and contribute to projects that make a real difference for our customers, colleagues and the planet. Our Customer team is at the heart of building trusted and valued relationships with our customers. During the programme, you'll gain exposure to different elements of marketing, from brand strategy and campaign delivery to customer loyalty and engagement. You'll learn how customer data, insight and market trends influence decision-making and help shape personalised customer experiences. Throughout the internship, you'll develop valuable workplace skills, build your professional network and work in a supportive and inclusive environment. From day one, you'll be encouraged to bring your ideas, challenge yourself and discover where your strengths and interests lie. Salary: 28,000 € Programme start date: 14 June 2027 Supporting your team with meaningful, live business projects and day-to-day activities. Collaborating with colleagues across different functions to deliver outcomes and gain a broader understanding of the business. Analysing information and contributing ideas to improve processes, campaigns and customer experiences. Taking ownership of tasks and project deliverables, with support from experienced mentors and colleagues. Building relationships across the business and actively participating in team discussions and activities. Engaging with learning and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge. Demonstrating Tesco values in everything you do and contributing positively to an inclusive team environment. Supporting the development of customer-focused marketing initiatives and campaigns. Using customer insight and data to help understand customer behaviours and identify opportunities to improve engagement and loyalty. Researching market trends and competitor activity to help identify innovative ideas and opportunities for Tesco. A genuine curiosity and desire to learn, develop and grow both personally and professionally. A positive and adaptable mindset, with the ability to embrace change and approach challenges as opportunities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to share ideas and ask questions. A collaborative approach and a willingness to work effectively as part of a team. Good organisation skills and the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines. Enthusiasm, initiative, and a proactive attitude towards learning and problem-solving. A strong team spirit, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive working environment. Our core purpose, "Serving our customers, communities and planet a little better every day" means we always keep customers at the heart of what we do, while also reflecting our responsibilities to the communities we serve and to society more broadly. At Tesco, inclusion means that Everyone’s Welcome. Everyone is treated fairly and with respect; by valuing individuality and uniqueness we create a sense of belonging. Diversity and inclusion have always been at the heart of Tesco. It is embedded in our values: we treat people how they want to be treated. We always want our colleagues to feel they can be themselves at work and we are committed to helping them be at their best. Across the Tesco group we are building an inclusive workplace, a place to actively celebrate the cultures, personalities and preferences of our colleagues – who in turn help to build the success of our business and reflect the diversity of the communities we serve. Our office is based in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin and Tesco has embraced hybrid working. We have open plan offices and informal breakout spaces so teams can collaborate together. We’ve a subsidised colleague restaurant for all breakfast, lunch and snack requirements. At the weekly “Team 5” update you'll get to hear about exciting events happening across our stores and any important business updates. We have stunning views of Dublin Bay from our office and are ideally located next to public transport options and lots of handy amenities in the local area.
