The role

We’re looking for a strategic, commercially minded Sales Manager to lead one of our Austin-based sales teams.

In this role, you will lead a team of sales professionals focused on driving revenue growth within our US Commercial accounts (organizations with less than 1,000 employees), as well as Federal and SLED entities. Success in this position requires strong leadership, a data-driven approach, and the ability to foster collaboration across marketing, product, and customer success teams to deliver a fully integrated go-to-market strategy.

Your work at Redgate

· Provide day-to-day leadership, support, and coaching of a team of 7 sales professionals.

· Execute GTM plans for the assigned territories to drive revenue growth, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.

· Foster a data-driven approach, utilizing analytics and key performance indicators to assess and enhance sales team performance.

· Cultivate a sustainable product sales pipeline to meet forecasted revenue targets.

· Collaborate closely with marketing teams to develop and execute integrated sales and marketing campaigns that generate leads and drive customer engagement.

· Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.

· Provide regular reporting and insights to executive leadership, offering a comprehensive overview of sales performance, trends, and opportunities.

· Assist and engage in key deals to drive them to closure.

· Build a high-performing collaborative team.

· Act in the best interests of Red Gate at all times.

What you bring to the table

· 2+ years first line sales management experience with teams of 4+ account executives, ideally in the technology industry.

· A leadership approach that encourages creativity, accountability, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and performance along with an exceptional passion for people.

· Experience as a first line leader with strong experience coaching sellers & forecasting deals, utilizing MEDDPIC sales methodology to conduct deal reviews and advance sales process.

· Maintain a go-getter attitude, balanced with a respectful approach and high integrity.

· Data driven ability to identify areas of improvement and build recipes for success.

· Comfort in fast-paced environments, adept at managing multiple activities concurrently.

· Strong written and verbal presentation skills, capable of quickly constructing compelling presentation materials and presenting at an executive level.

· Proven ability to adapt quickly to market changes, staying informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs.

· Exceptional problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.

· Methodical, action-oriented, results-oriented

· Strong negotiation and influencing skills, capable of building consensus among diverse stakeholders.

· Experience with the sales cycle; prospecting, qualification, verbal presentation, and closing using a repeatable sales process.

· Confident in attaining revenue and performance goals.

· Experience selling B2B, Federal and SLED entities desirable.

Salary

· Base: $115,000 - $140,000

· OTE: $230,000 - $280,000 (50/50 split)
