Join Northern as an Assistant Project Manager – a key support role where you’ll help keep projects running smoothly, coordinate teams and tasks, and build the hands-on experience needed to grow into a future Project Manager.
This is a fast-paced, varied role that’s perfect for someone eager to learn, collaborate, and develop core project delivery skills in a supportive environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing and maintaining key project documentation – including meeting minutes, file structures, and update logs
- Assisting with project reporting, including tracking progress against timeframes and budgets
- Supporting Project Managers with day-to-day coordination, administrative tasks, and communications across teams and contractors
- Acting as a go-to point of contact for general project support
- Taking ownership of small projects or specific workstreams to apply and grow your skills
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to structure your time effectively
- A proactive, positive attitude and a genuine desire to learn and develop
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Great communication skills and a team-first approach
- No previous project management experience required – just a passion for making things happen and an interest in infrastructure delivery
