Mott MacDonald is is seeking a candidate to fill a Digital Delivery Manager position on a Progressive Design Build Project. The Digital Delivery Manager will lead the implementation and oversight of digital delivery strategies across all phases of a major light rail transit project. This role ensures the integration of digital platforms, tools, and workflows to support efficient, collaborative, and data-driven project execution. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in infrastructure delivery, digital tools, BIM management and stakeholder coordination. This position is a full-time position. The successful candidate will be located at the Project Office in Austin, TX.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the development and execution of the project’s Digital Delivery Strategy, aligned with ISO 19650 standards.
  • Oversee the implementation of BIM, GIS, CAD workflows across a multidisciplinary design team formed from multiple organizations working within the DJV.
  • Manage the Common Data Environment (CDE), ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent digital practices.
  • Supervise digital delivery staff including BIM/CAD Managers, Information Managers, and Document Control.
  • Ensure compliance with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), Information Management Plan, and project-specific digital protocols.
  • Facilitate digital coordination meetings and provide technical leadership on model integration, clash detection, and data validation.
  • Support project controls by integrating digital tools with scheduling, cost, and risk management systems.
  • Champion innovation in digital delivery, including automation, model-based design reviews, and digital twin readiness.
  • Provide training and mentorship to project teams on digital tools and workflows.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of experience in digital delivery or BIM/VDC roles on large infrastructure or transit projects.
  • Proven leadership in implementing ISO 19650-compliant digital strategies.
  • Proficiency in Bentley suite (OpenRoads, OpenRail, Microstation) or Autodesk suite (Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks)
  • Experience managing CDE platforms (e.g., ACC, ProjectWise, iTwin).
  • Strong understanding of data governance, information management, and digital workflows.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
