About the Business Unit :
Global Delivery Services Centre (GDSC) is a high-impact business unit within Mott MacDonald, dedicated to enhancing project delivery across our global operations.
As part of GDSC, you’ll join a team that champions excellence in both technical and digital disciplines, supporting projects at every stage of the lifecycle—from concept to completion. We work to international design standards and regulations, ensuring our contributions meet the highest benchmarks of quality and innovation. At GDSC, you’ll be empowered to collaborate across borders, grow your expertise, and make a meaningful impact on infrastructure and development projects that shape communities worldwide. As part of GDSC in India, you will be working alongside Mott MacDonald international colleagues delivering ambitious projects across a broad range of building types including commercial, residential, retail and offices, education, healthcare, airports, data center, hotels, sports and events venues, and Metro & stations. Under this sector, our services span the whole asset cycle from advisory to consulting, through design and delivery, to asset management. With deep understanding of all phases of the building lifecycle, it enables us to give our clients the best-informed engineering and innovative solutions. Key Deliverables:
- Support project teams in the use of BIM authoring tools
- Provide support in modelling and resolving clashes
- Assist BIM Coordinators during coordination meetings
- Implement internal BIM standards for modelling tools and object libraries
- Conduct early design reviews and constructability analyses
- Produce project content using Autodesk Revit and Civil 3D
- Select and implement solutions to automate repetitive tasks (e.g., using Dynamo, new plugins)
- Develop and maintain BIM project documentation (e.g., MIDP, TIDP)
- Monitor project compliance with agreed workflows
- Federate models and perform clash detection reporting
- Conduct BIM checks of models and deliverables produced by the team
- Identify and provide necessary training to team members, helping them upskill as needed
Candidate Specification
Professional Experience :
- Should have 10+ years of experience of civil /Structural engineering design or MEP engineering design
Essential Skills & Software :
- IEng and a member of the IET or CIBSE or IMECH (Preferably)
- Extensive years of experience in Navisworks, Bentley ProjectWise, Autodesk BIM360
- Familiarity with working to industry modelling standards
- Knowledge of ISO19650 / BS1192 / PAS1192-2
- EngTech TMICE or similar
- Strong 3D modelling skills (especially Autodesk Revit Structures and Civil 3D)
- Strong interest in 3D design, modelling and creating immersive models
- Enthusiasm to learn new skills and embrace new technologies and software
- Have an eye for detail and ability to work effectively under pressure and to deadlines
- Able to work on your own initiative, whilst displaying a commitment to contribute to, and learn from, the wider team
- Able to carry out detailing in 2D environment
- Experience in Hydropower project is not mandatory but will be an advantage
- Must have excellent communication skills
Qualifications :
- Have a diploma or degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering
