Head of Consumer Engagement International

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent, salaried

Merlin Entertainments is seeking a Head of Consumer Engagement to lead the regional delivery of global engagement strategies across CRM, social and content engagement, point-of-sale marketing, and membership activation. In this hands-on leadership role, you will deepen guest relationships, increase visitation, and drive revenue growth across our portfolio of iconic attractions.

You will translate global frameworks and priorities into regionally relevant, high-impact plans, ensuring every guest interaction—from digital communications to in-attraction experiences—is insight-led, consistent, and aligned with Merlin’s brand and commercial objectives. Operating at the intersection of brand, product, CRM, and attraction marketing, you will lead cross-functional teams to create exceptional, commercially effective guest experiences across both digital and in-park touchpoints.

This role requires a strategic yet hands-on approach, combining creativity, insight, and commercial focus. You will collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure all engagement activity resonates with guests while driving measurable business impact. Qualifications & Experience

  • Experienced in customer engagement, CRM, or digital marketing in consumer-facing industries (entertainment, leisure, retail preferred).

  • Proven ability to deliver integrated, multi-channel campaigns that drive engagement and commercial impact.

  • Customer-focused with strong understanding of digital behaviour and engagement drivers.

  • Strategic, analytical, and creative, with excellent storytelling skills.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.

  • Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud), social platforms, and analytics.

  • Commercially minded, organised, proactive, and results-oriented.

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field advantageous.
