Job Title: Reliability Apprentice

Location: Fremont, NE (Royal Canin)

Shift: Day (Various)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

The Reliability Apprentice should be able to assist with scheduled and unscheduled repairs on manufacturing equipment. Can follow instructions for repairs unto completion with limited supervision. Assists with utilities, facilities, and grounds related systems as needed. Follows all company GMPs as well as safety protocols. Must be willing to work 8-to-12-hour shifts (days or nights) as assigned. Must possess a basic understanding of the manufacturing process and its demands. Must be able to function as part of a team in a fast paced, high production work environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist with completion of maintenance workload as scheduled.

· Ensure information is entered in the CMMS to track utilization.

· Prioritize assigned daily workload and other assigned tasks.

· Ensure major issues are recorded and communicated.

· Ensure standing issues and temporary repairs are escalated.

· Support team with positive motivation and morale.

· Provide feedback to leadership on scheduled work that is completed.

· Ensure storeroom processes are followed fully and correctly.

Scope

· Willingness to develop required technical skills

· Basic problem solving and observation abilities

· Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs.).

· Frequent pushing/pulling (50-200 lbs.).

· Frequent handling/gripping/bending/stooping.

Other duties as assigned by Reliability Manager.

Job Specifications/Qualifications

Minimum

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in any technical role within a manufacturing setting.

Preferred

• Technical certificate or diploma.
• 1 or more years of experience with equipment repairs within manufacturing.
