ANZ Digital Manufacturing Supply Excellence (MSE) Lead

Job Description:

We're looking for an experienced ANZ Digital Manufacturing Supply Excellence (MSE) Lead to accelerate the deployment of Manufacturing Supply Excellence (MSE) and digital transformation initiatives across our ANZ manufacturing network.

This is a highly visible leadership role that will shape how our sites leverage technology, data, and operational excellence to drive performance and build future capability.

Reporting to the ANZ Supply Director, you will lead the deployment of Mars' Manufacturing Supply Excellence (MSE) strategy across our Pet Nutrition manufacturing network.

Acting as the key link between global, regional and site teams, you'll drive the adoption of digital solutions, strengthen operational governance, and build capability across our manufacturing sites in Bathurst, Wacol and Wodonga.

This is a role where you'll influence senior leaders, develop site MSE capability, lead a specialist Digital MSE team, and champion best-practice sharing across the region. You'll be instrumental in translating global strategy into practical local execution that delivers measurable improvements in efficiency, waste reduction and manufacturing performance.

What you’ll do

• Lead the deployment and governance of the ANZ MSE and Digital strategy across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Translate global MSE frameworks into effective site-level improvement plans and capability-building initiatives.
• Lead and develop a team comprising Digital MSE Analysts and a Digital Product Lead.
• Partner closely with Plant Directors, Operations Leaders and Site MSE Leads to drive maturity, consistency and continuous improvement.
• Conduct MSE and digital maturity assessments, providing governance, auditing, and strategic direction.
• Champion the integration of digital tools, analytics and smart manufacturing capabilities to support operational performance.
• Build strong communities of practice, driving capability uplift and sharing best practice across the network.
• Lead cross-functional projects focused on transformational change, digital innovation and operational excellence

What we’re looking for

You are an influential manufacturing leader who combines strong operational experience with a passion for continuous improvement and digital transformation.

You'll bring:

• Significant experience within manufacturing, supply chain or operations leadership, ideally in FMCG environments.
• Strong expertise in TPM, MSE, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and/or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience leading governance programs, maturity assessments, audits or operational excellence frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and build credibility from the shop floor through to senior leadership.
• Experience implementing digital solutions within manufacturing environments and an understanding of Industry 4.0 principles.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, coaching and capability-building skills.
• A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or a related discipline. Additional qualifications in TPM, Lean or Six Sigma will be highly regarded
