As a Sales Representative, you will have overall sales responsibility for customer relationships and performance of an assigned customer portfolio for a big impact client base.

The primary objective for this position is to generate targeted Korean client’s business in Europe, mainly for Central South Europe as well as to build strong, value-driven & profitable long-terms business connected with Korean clients all the way.

The location is based in Budapest, Hungary.

Key responsibilities

• Drive business growth and expand the portfolio of Korean customers across Central South Europe.

• Manage and execute strategic sales activities for key Korean accounts as part of a cross-functional team.

• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities by offering total logistics and supply chain solutions aligned with company strategy.

• Deliver ocean and Logistics & Services (L&S) growth targets through proactive customer engagement and regular customer visits.

• Evaluate business opportunities and recommend short-term and long-term strategies to achieve sustainable and profitable volume growth.

• Develop customer-specific value propositions and effectively communicate Maersk’s service differentiators to Korean customers.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer developments, providing actionable insights to Trade, Marketing, and internal stakeholders.

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to increase customer loyalty, retention, and share of wallet.

• Manage the sales pipeline, opportunities, and forecasts through Salesforce (SFDC) to ensure visibility and target achievement.

• Review customer performance against agreed targets and proactively implement action plans to close performance gaps.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and deliver end-to-end logistics solutions that create value for customers.

We are looking for:

• Native Korean and strong command of English language

• Excellent PC skills (Word /Excel/PowerPoints.)

• Market and product knowledge

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
