About the role
As a LEAN Solutions Manager, you will lead and support the deployment of Maersk’s Operational Excellence program, driving continuous improvement and transformation across the organization. You will act as a subject matter expert in Lean methodologies, coaching teams, enabling capability building, and ensuring alignment to strategic business priorities. This role plays a critical part in improving operational performance, enhancing customer outcomes, and strengthening organizational efficiency through data-driven decision making and structured problem-solving..

Key Responsibilities:
- Support deployment and adoption of the Maersk Operational Excellence program across teams and functions
- Lead and coach Lean transformation initiatives aligned with business priorities
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance Lean capabilities and organizational effectiveness
- Act as a subject matter expert and champion of Lean principles, tools, and practices
- Partner with stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and optimize processes
- Analyze performance, assess organizational Lean maturity, and recommend improvement actions
- Communicate progress, outcomes, and ROI of improvement initiatives to leadership
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, mitigate risks, and enhance service delivery.
Who we are looking for:

- 5+ years of experience in Lean process improvement or operational excellence environments
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt required; Black Belt preferred or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience leading Lean transformation, implementation, and change management initiatives
- Strong ability to analyze complex problems and apply structured, data-driven solutions
- Demonstrated experience coaching, mentoring, and developing teams in Lean methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management, relationship-building, and communication skills
- Experience working with tools such as MS Office and Visio to support process mapping and analysis
- Willingness to travel and work across diverse teams and business functions.
Job Details:
Job type: Full-time
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Onsite – 5 days per week)
Travel expectations: Travel required based on business needs
Salary: $100,000 – $120,000*
*The stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary and may be adjusted based on market conditions, experience, and location. Final compensation will be discussed directly with the selected candidate(s) in compliance with all applicable laws.
