
Job Description
As a Claims Handler, you will manage end-to-end claims processes, ensuring timely and accurate handling, investigation, and resolution. You will collaborate with TPA, surveyors, customers, and internal stakeholders to deliver proactive claims services while maintaining compliance with global guidelines and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, investigate, and manage property damage claims by gathering relevant information to determine exposure, ensuring proactive and cost‑effective claim resolution through well‑developed action plans.
- Assess claim exposure and resolve claims within established authority levels. Maintain diaries and complete tasks within required timeframes in line with departmental guidelines, ensuring timely, accurate, and well‑documented claim files with clear analysis of coverage, damages, reserves, and liability, supported by defined resolution strategies.
- Process claim-related invoices accurately and within required timelines with TPA
- Establish timely and appropriate reserves and continuously monitor reserve adequacy throughout the life of each claim.
- Escalate matters to management as appropriate, responding to requests and guidance in a professional and timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including Underwriting, to ensure awareness and oversight of large losses.
- Collaborate closely with Third Party Administrators (TPAs) to ensure compliance with claim-handling standards and reporting guidelines.
- Facilitate timely resolution of claims-related issues across multiple lines of business.
