About the role
In this role, you will drive the growth of our Customs House Brokerage (CHB) business by securing new customers and positioning Maersk as a trusted brokerage partner. You will work closely with Sales, Solutions, and Operations teams to expand the pipeline, develop tailored proposals, and lead seamless customer onboarding. This is a hands-on, commercially focused role that blends business development, sales enablement, and customs brokerage expertise, with direct impact on revenue growth and customer success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute CHB sales strategy and clearly articulate value propositions to prospective customers
- Support RFIs and RFQs by developing competitive pricing models and tailored brokerage solutions
- Partner with Sales teams to identify new opportunities, drive pipeline growth, and expand cross-selling
- Act as a subject matter expert in customer discussions, presentations, and solution design
- Manage customer interactions and support ongoing commercial engagement activities
- Lead post-award implementation, ensuring onboarding readiness including systems, documentation, and coordination
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, reporting, and updates within Salesforce (SFDC)
- Support sales enablement activities including client setup, credit applications, and revenue activation.
Who we are looking for:

- 8–10+ years of experience in Customs Brokerage, Trade Compliance, or related commercial roles
- Strong understanding of CHB products, brokerage operations, and global supply chains
- Customs Broker License preferred
- Proven ability to drive business development and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and customer engagement skills
- Commercially driven with strong analytical and solution-oriented mindset
- Experience supporting industries such as Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Technology, or Automotive is preferred
- Willingness to travel and engage directly with customers.
Job Details:
Job type: Full-time
Location: Charlotte, NC, Florham Park, NJ or Gardena, CA (Onsite – 5 days per week)
Travel expectations: Travel as required for client engagement.
Salary: $100,000 – $120,000*
*The stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary and may be adjusted based on market conditions, experience, and location. Final compensation will be discussed directly with the selected candidate(s) in compliance with all applicable laws.
