Job Description
Business Development Representative
Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation, and growth drives everything we do. Our Commercial team sits at the centre of Deliveroo’s marketplace—shaping how we serve restaurants, grocers, and new verticals worldwide. From negotiating key partnerships to unlocking new revenue streams and crafting data-led growth strategies, we take on big challenges that move the business forward. If you thrive in fast-paced, commercial environments and want to influence the future of a global brand—this is the team for you.
We’re looking for a Business Development Representative to join our Kuwait team. In this role, you’ll be the engine of our growth, responsible for identifying and engaging the best restaurant partners in your territory and building a high-impact sales pipeline.
Get to know our Commercial team — what drives us, how we work, and what you can expect.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be joining the Commercial team. This is an inside sales opportunity where you will move fast, value autonomy, and have a direct impact on our expanding presence across Kuwait.
Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
Restaurant Acquisition: Prospect and pitch to new restaurants, working alongside our Business Development Managers to close deals and hit ambitious activity targets for calls, emails, and meetings.
Pipeline Ownership: Take full control of your lead portfolio, using your organisational skills to manage the sales cycle and ensure high conversion rates.
Process Strategy: Continuously iterate on our inside sales workflows to ensure we remain the fastest-moving and most effective team within the business.
Commercial Initiatives: Support the wider team with strategic projects, including field pitch days, restaurant marketing roll-outs, and cross-functional collaborations.
Market Insight: Act as an expert on the local restaurant landscape, identifying trends and high-potential partners to bring onto the platform.
What You’ll Need to Thrive
Essential
Sales Experience: Minimum of 2 years in sales, preferably within a high-growth environment, with proven negotiation skills.
Linguistic Proficiency: Fluency in both Arabic and English is a must for this role.
Local Expertise: A deep and thorough knowledge of the restaurant landscape in Kuwait.
Self-Starter Mindset: A "get it done" attitude with the drive to hit and exceed monthly targets independently.
Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex lead pipelines efficiently.
Nice to Have
BSc/BA in business or a related field.
Experience using Salesforce, specifically within the Food & Beverage sector.
