Join us as a Security Engineer
The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation application enhancements and new products for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics — all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.

What you will do
Focused on Threat Intelligence/Offensive Security, you will actively test and challenge the security controls of Boomi’s infrastructure and applications. You will conduct penetration tests, vulnerability research, and red team exercises. This role is crucial for identifying weaknesses before malicious actors do, driving internal improvements, and providing critical, actionable threat intelligence to the defensive security teams.

You will:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in offensive security, penetration testing, or red teaming.
• Strong technical foundation in network protocols, operating systems, and application security.
• Proficiency with penetration testing tools (e.g., Burp Suite, Metasploit) and techniques.
• Experience documenting technical findings and developing proof-of-concept exploits.
• Background in identifying threats relevant to a global SaaS/Cloud environment.

What you’ll need to succeed in this role

• 5+ years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• OSCP, CEH, or related offensive security certifications.

Additional experience desired
Experience with cloud security assessment (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat modeling.
