Job Title: Information Security Supplier Assurance Analyst (14.5 Months FTC)

Location: Can be based anywhere within the UK, Hybrid

What you’ll be doing:

The role provides essential support to the Supplier Assurance Lead, ensuring all activities align with project and programme requirements across the function. Responsibilities include issuing and responding to Programme Security Aspects Letters and Data Share Agreements, and managing key supplier assurance databases. The role maintains SAP records to ensure compliance with customer requirements, including tracking expiry dates and certifications. You will work closely with stakeholders across Defence Solutions, supporting audits by gathering evidence and tracking remedial actions, maintaining records to demonstrate compliance, assisting with supplier security incident management, and helping identify and manage security risks across the function and wider business.

Core duties:

  • Good understanding of relevant policies, procedures and processes
  • Good knowledge of IT software (e.g. Word, Excel, Share-Point and SAP)
  • Understands the roles of others in their immediate team in order to help carry out their role effectively
  • Understands the principles within the practice area in which the role operates as well as a good understanding of other areas within the function drawing on their skills where required
  • Understands how the area collectively works together in order to meet their objectives

Security Supplier Assurance Team:

The role sits within the Security and Legal function of Maritime Services, providing support across all Defence Solutions programmes. You will be joining a focused and collaborative team of seven specialists who work closely with stakeholders across the business to uphold robust supplier assurance standards. This position is offered on a 14.5‑month fixed‑term contract, providing the opportunity to contribute to key security and compliance activities within a well‑established and highly engaged function.
