About the Role
As Chief Finance Officer for Nigeria, you will provide strategic financial leadership across APM Terminals' Nigeria cluster, partnering with the Country CEO, Regional CFO and Leadership Team to drive sustainable growth, strengthen governance and enable informed business decisions.
Based in Lagos, you will lead the finance organisation supporting operations across Apapa, Onne, Kano and San Pedro while working closely with regional and global finance teams to deliver operational excellence, robust financial stewardship and long-term value creation.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with executive leadership to shape business strategy, investment decisions and financial performance across the Nigeria cluster.
Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management to support sustainable business growth.
Ensure strong financial governance through accurate reporting, statutory compliance, treasury, tax and working capital management.
Strengthen enterprise risk management, internal controls and governance frameworks while driving timely resolution of audit actions.
Build and develop a high-performing finance organisation by coaching talent, strengthening succession and fostering collaboration.
Champion Lean thinking and the APMT Business System to improve efficiency, simplify processes and embed a culture of continuous improvement.

Significant leadership experience in Finance within a multinational or complex business environment.
Strong expertise across financial planning, accounting, treasury, governance, tax and enterprise risk management.
Proven experience partnering with executive leadership to influence business strategy and organisational performance.
Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing finance teams across complex organisations.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
