Working student in Quality Space Digital (d/f/m)

As a Working Student in Quality Space Digital at Airbus Defence and Space GmbH, you will support the team in developing and implementing digital solutions to enhance quality processes within space programs. This role offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in a high-tech environment, contributing to the digitalization of quality management.

Definition working student

Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.

This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises. A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.

Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of digital tools and applications for quality assurance and control.
  
• Assist in data collection, analysis, and visualization to identify trends and areas for improvement in quality processes.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical support for digital quality initiatives.
  
• Contribute to the documentation of digital solutions, user manuals, and process descriptions.
  
• Participate in testing and validation of new digital functionalities and updates.
  
• Research and evaluate new technologies and methodologies for digital quality management.
  
• Perform general administrative tasks and support the team with various projects as needed.
  

Desired skills and qualifications

• Enrolled student in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering (Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical), Data Science, or a related discipline.
  
• Strong interest in digitalization, data analysis, and quality management.
  
• Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL) and/or experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  
• Familiarity with quality management principles (e.g., ISO 9001) is desirable but not mandatory.
  
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
  Good communication skills in English and German (both written and spoken).
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
