VIE within Engineering Controlling Department (d/f/m)

Definition VIE
The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). Your location
At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Monitor Engineering cost Base, Hourly rates and fixed costs along Finance processes (closing and reporting, forecast, Operative Plan, Budget)
  
• Lead your business partners in understanding performance, and to support improvement plans and decision making.
  
• Drive resource planning process for Engineering
  
• Support ad'hoc analysis
  
• Desired skills and qualifications
  
• Educated to master level (or equivalent) in Finance/Cost Controlling or a related discipline.
  
• IT tools: Excel and Google suite practice is needed, SAP knowledge would be appreciated
  
• In addition you are capable to demonstrate the following skills:
  
• Curious & Proactive
  
• Analytical thinking
  
• Good communication skills
  
• Language skills : advanced level of English is needed. German knowledge can be appreciated.
