An opportunity for a Supply Officer has arisen within Airbus Operations S.L., Getafe (Madrid).
The selected candidate will join the Procurement & Supply Chain Team. We are responsible for the efficient end-to-end management of the supply chain, ensuring the timely availability of materials and components for our operations while maintaining strict quality standards and optimizing costs. The team works in a highly dynamic, multicultural, and cross-functional environment, collaborating closely with production, engineering, and external global suppliers to tackle operational challenges and support Airbus' production rate.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The main tasks of the jobholder will be:
- Procurement Cycle Management: Manage the complete procurement cycle, from identifying internal needs to the final delivery of materials, ensuring proper planning and execution.
- Supplier Management & Negotiation: Negotiate terms (price, quality, delivery deadlines), monitor supplier performance, and develop solid long-term relationships.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with internal departments (production, engineering, warehouse) to align purchasing activities with operational needs and resolve supply issues.
- Stock & Inventory Optimization: Track orders, manage incidents, maintain updated inventory records, and optimize stock levels to prevent shortages or excesses.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement within the supply chain processes to increase efficiency.
- Reporting & Compliance: Prepare performance reports on purchasing and inventory levels, ensuring full compliance with company policies and aerospace regulations.

- Education: University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar positions within the industrial sector, preferably in the aerospace industry.
- Soft skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Results-oriented, autonomous, and highly adaptable to working under pressure in dynamic team environments.
- Languages: Advanced level in English (spoken and written) is essential.
- Technical knowledge: Solid knowledge of supply chain management and procurement. Advanced skills in data analytics tools (Microsoft Office, Skywise, Qlik Sense).
- Valuable / Nice to have: * Experience working with ERP systems (SAP or similar).
- Proficiency or basic knowledge of French is a plus.
