Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Maintenance Program Engineer (f/m) to join our Maintenance Program Organization within Airbus’ Customer Services Department based in Toulouse, France.

You will join a diverse team of people developing maintenance programs for aircraft safety and operators’ benefits, which is part of a trans-national organization gathering similar teams in Airbus Core Countries and USA.

Your challenges:

You will be accountable to develop the maintenance program for the avionics systems (including ATA 23, 30, 31, 33, 34, 42, 45 and 46) by implementing MSG-3 methodology for all the Airbus commercial programs, except A220.

This role implies traveling minimal 5 times a year (3 - 4 days every time) for physical meetings with operators and authorities in the same room.

Process & Policy Adherence and Execution:

  • Follow established processes, policies, and quality standards for all assigned maintenance program deliverables.
  • Contribute to internal reviews to identify basic issues or areas for process improvement.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions as defined by senior engineers.

Ensuring Delivery:

  • Conduct technical reviews and validate the deliverables of the community, including but not limited to MSG-3 analysis, MWG presentations, etc.
  • Contribute to the management of Support SIME daily airline queries Front Desk and comply with given target date and quality.
  • Collect feedback from MWGs crossing programs and push for harmonization and synchronization.

Training and Coaching:

  • Serve as a mentor and coach for new engineers and junior team members, guiding them through complex projects and technical challenges.
  • Deliver training sessions, on maintenance program processes, best practices, and new technologies. Request and help to develop new training programs when it’s needed.
  • Provide constructive and continuous feedback to help team members grow professionally.

Your boarding pass:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or a related Engineering field.
  • 7 years of experience in aviation engineering, with a focus on aircraft maintenance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Negotiation level in English, both oral and written.
