Lead Engineer - CAMO
> Description
An opportunity has arisen in Airbus India Customer Services team, to join the Fleet Technical Management - CAMO, which is in charge of supporting the Continuing Airworthiness of customer (Airlines and Lessors) aircraft to ensure the safe and efficient operations.
AIRBUS CAMO offers Continuing Airworthiness services in combination with other services to ensure a hassle-free, integrated solution for Lessors and Airlines alike. We are an EASA approved CAMO Part M subpart G & I organization (Certification number FR.CAMO.0085 and 2-REG.39.168)
As OEM, Airbus provides significant product and fleet knowledge, as well as a direct link with Engineering functions and experience in working with National Aviation Authorities.
The jobholder will be working under the Airbus CAMO approval, reference FR-CAMO-0085 and 2-REG.39.168. The position is locally attached to the H/O Airframe Services - CAMO based in Bengaluru.
> This function encompasses different roles:
- AIRBUS CAMO Experienced WPR / Engineering Records
- AIRBUS AOS Focal
Skills and competencies:
- Position based in Bangalore
- Requirements:
- 12+ Years of Experience in A/C Technical Services
- 8+ Years in Part M / Part CAMO
- 12+ Years of Experience in A/C Technical Services
AIRBUS knowledge needed :
- A220 / A320FAM / A330-X / A350-X / A380-X
- Customer service basics (Tech Request, myCMA, Airbus World...)
- A/C configuration change (MOD, SB, VSB, STC, ...)
- Maintenance documentation (AMM, IPC, SRM ...)
- Operational documentation (MMEL, AFM ...)
- Scheduled Maintenance (MPD, AMP)
Regulation knowledge needed :
- Part 145, Part M and Part CAMO
- EASA and FAA (TCCA, 2-Reg will be a plus)
- SMS, I-SMS and risk/change management
Operational knowledge needed :
- Ability to manage and resolve technical topics
- Ability to manage Technical Project (from office and/or on-site)
- Concrete experience on SMS, Human Factor, Fuel Tank Safety and EWIS
- Achievements on projects supported worldwide with multicultural team (will be a plus)
CAMO context knowledge needed :
- Airlines and Lessors needs (expectations and contract)
- Requirements to support A/C recovery and delivery
- Line maintenance and Base maintenance activity
- A/C Maintenance Program and statuses
Flexibility :
- Capacity to work under high pressure with high workload
- Support last minute escalation from project or AIRBUS Management request
- Availability to support last minute travel request
Behaviour :

- Strong decision making skills with ability to propose and prioritize
- Capacity to support people in their operations and technical development

> Mission to be managed :
Lead Engineer of the AIRBUS CAMO Technical Engineering Record Team
- Supervising activities / projects in the scope of Continuing Airworthiness Management as described in CAME A90.0 and M2673.10
- Supporting and bringing expertise to the CAMO Engineering Records team
- Encouraging initiatives and promoting best practices
- Contributing to the definition of standardized metrics associated to his scope of activity
- Monitoring and Upskilling of the team skills and performances
- Performing periodic reviews and ensuring quality of deliverables
- Follow-up of the team workload and availability
- Being focal point to manage AIRBUS internal audit(s) and authorities audit(s)
- Activities assigned by HO Airframe Services - CAMO
