Airbus is looking for an Industrial Cyber Security Specialist in Illescas (Spain) to work with all Digital domains, Corporate Security, as well as our Industrial business stakeholders. The goal is to enhance the resilience of our aircraft production processes against cyber attacks.
The Industrial Cyber Security mission requires excellent understanding of our aircraft production and relevant support processes end to end, in order to achieve the business objectives and business continuity. Further we appreciate an excellent know-how of cyber security, of what cyber threats and risks that our aircraft production are exposed to and how to help our plants to manage those risks. It is our common goal to be aware of how to control, countermeasure and ultimately mitigate those risks in a sustainable way - using the cyber solutions portfolio of Digital Cyber Security.
Even thoug the job will be focalised in the Illescas site, periodic travel to the Getafe site (normally once per week) will be required.
Your Key Responsibilities:
The Industrial Cyber Security Specialist is a key role in our Industrial Cyber Security Operations department. You will be the bridge between the plant and the cyber security technologies, solutions and services provided by the Digital Cyber Security and wider Digital and Corporate organizations.
- Promotes common and harmonized security architecture via Security by Design to ensure resilience against current and emerging threats.
- Assists with developments and implements security solutions to protect OT infrastructure and industrial systems from internal and external threats.
- Carries out technical security requirements integration to new systems or upgrade existing systems.
- Provides recommendations for maintaining a high level of protection against cyber attacks and other potential threats.
- Acts as a bridge between the Industrial Business Domains and the cyber security technologies, solutions, and services provided by the Digital Cyber Security and wider Digital organizations.
- Drives and contributes to Industrial Cyber Security vision and roadmap. This role involves tasks such as designing, building, assessing, and maintaining Industrial IT, Operational Technology (OT), and Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS).
- Leads projects and ensures the quality of deliverables to support the achievement of the industrial cyber security objectives.
- Works alongside and close collaboration with Industrial Cyber Security Solutions, local plant business stakeholders and Digital Shopfloor Teams as well as business project managers, architects and technical experts to ensure the successful implementation of projects.
- Conducts/leads regular Industrial Cyber Security Maturity Assessments within Airbus Commercial core plants, identifying actions resulting from the assessment, communicating results to plant and other bodies, and supervising resulting improvement actions (Tactical uplifts local and transverse)
- Carry out local support for Industrial Security Programme (ISP) activities including coordination of deployment of solutions, supervision and quality checking of data gathering activities, assisting with security topics around deployment of defined capabilities.
Who we are looking for:
- Degree in either Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Security/Operational Technology, Information Technology, Manufacturing Automation or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Very good understanding NIST CSF Manufacturing Profile, 800-53 and 800-82, IEC 62443, and ISO27000 series
- Preferable knowledge on shop floor processes and requirements in production environments
- IT security professional experience in information systems security technology, ideally with focus/experience in cyber incident detection and response is an asset
- Proven experience in operational technology (OT) is an asset
- Very good networking, communication and presentation skills at all levels
- Very good level of English and native in Spanish
