An opportunity for a Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space , Toulouse (France). The selected candidate will join a brand-new team inside the Military Derivatives department of Air Power .
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyse and validate metallic parts in Fatigue and Damage Tolerance (F&DT), as well as composite or hybrid structures.
- Write and check stress dossiers, justification reports, and test programs.
- Define justification approaches and ensure activity progress with Technical Authority support.
- Support manufacturing by assessing non-conformities on structural elements.
- Work closely with design engineers and communicate with internal/external stakeholders, experts, and civil or military authorities.

- Education: Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Fatigue and Damage Tolerance (F&DT).
