Vos défis :

• Capturer, diffuser et transférer les connaissances aux équipes de structure, en appliquant et en améliorant les normes et meilleures pratiques d'Airbus (y compris les leçons tirées du benchmark A220).
• Établir et animer des réseaux d'experts pour soutenir l'intégration du programme A220 au sein de la famille Airbus.
• Apporter un soutien technique expert sur les enjeux et problématiques identifiés au sein du centre de compétences.
• Conseiller et influencer la direction afin d'optimiser les solutions opérationnelles.
• Orienter et stimuler la recherche et l'innovation dans votre domaine d'expertise, tant à l'échelle locale qu'internationale.
• Développer des partenariats et des liens de collaboration étroits avec vos homologues européens.
• Représenter Airbus lors de conférences, auprès des universités et des organismes externes (notamment les comités de normalisation).
• Piloter ou soutenir des projets et initiatives stratégiques favorisant la montée en compétences du centre de compétences de la structure.

Votre profil :

• Diplôme universitaire (Baccalauréat ou Maîtrise) en ingénierie, ou expérience équivalente pertinente.
• Solide expérience professionnelle dans le domaine des matériaux et procédés (M&P) de structure, le développement de programmes d'aéronefs et l'ingénierie de soutien.
• Expertise technique reconnue à l'échelle internationale et capacité éprouvée à piloter des projets complexes en toute autonomie.
• Excellentes compétences en communication, leadership et influence pour transmettre le savoir et guider la prise de décision à tous les niveaux.
• Vision multidisciplinaire, esprit d'innovation et capacité à intégrer les technologies de pointe au sein d'Airbus.
• Fortes aptitudes interpersonnelles, d'analyse, de résolution de problèmes et de gestion des priorités.
• Esprit d'équipe, humilité, goût pour le travail collaboratif et l'apprentissage continu.
• Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais (oral et écrit).

Do you have solid experience in the aerospace industry, specifically within the Airframe Materials and Processes (M&P) community, and are looking to expand your skills? Then this job is for you!

The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for an Airframe Materials and Processes Expert to join our Engineering team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will develop strong collaboration links with European counterparts.

You will be part of the aerostructures engineering team, where you will also support special projects, activities, and initiatives aimed at growing the structural competence centre's knowledge base. You will create value for the customer-and ultimately for Airbus-by delivering assignments that influence both internal and external stakeholders

The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.

Your role as Airframe M&P (Materials and Processes) Expert will be to serve as a strategic guide, technical reference, and mentor for the team's engineers.

Your challenges :

• Capture, disseminate, and transfer knowledge to airframe teams while applying and improving Airbus standards and best practices (including A220 benchmark lessons learned).
• Establish and drive expert networks to support the integration of the A220 program into the Airbus family.
• Provide expert support on technical issues and queries identified within your center of competency.
• Advise and influence management to enhance operational solutions.
• Drive research and innovation in your domain of expertise, both locally and internationally.
• Develop strong collaboration links with European counterparts.
• Represent Airbus at conferences, universities, and external bodies (including standardization groups).
• Lead or support strategic projects and initiatives that advance the knowledge growth of the Airframe center of competency.

Your boarding pass :

• University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Solid professional experience in Airframe M&P expertise, aircraft program development, and sustaining engineering.
• Recognized technical expertise on a global scale and a proven track record of managing complex multi-project environments autonomously.
• Strong communication, leadership, and influence skills to share technical knowledge and guide decision-making at all organizational levels.
• Multidisciplinary mindset, innovative attitude, and ability to bring state-of-the-art technologies into Airbus.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Collaborative mindset, humble, eager to learn from others, and passionate about collective achievements.
• Proficiency in English and French (written and spoken).

This role involves occasional business travel (domestic & overseas).

Due to the sector of activity (aerospace), frequent contacts with Airbus entities worldwide, and interactions with suppliers and clients also located across the globe, proficiency in English is required for this position.
