An offer entitled “DevOPS Engineer - Cyber-Training Platform & OT Engineer (m/f)” has just opened within Airbus CyberSecurity.

You will join the Engineering department whose mission is to ensure the security “by Design” of information systems, to integrate security software and equipment, to deploy them and to train users.

This department has created a cyber-training platform allowing the carrying out of operational exercises (ethical hacking, cyber crisis management, etc.), cybersecurity challenges (CTF, Red Team vs Blue Team, etc) as well as product testing. The platform is equipped with an innovative tool allowing the deployment of virtual network infrastructures on demand to carry out cyber-attacks.

Main Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design and deploy automated simulation infrastructures on CyberRange platforms, utilizing cloud and physical migration scripts.
  • Tactical Content Creation: Develop realistic training scenarios (Red Team vs. Blue Team) and hybrid CTF challenges involving OSINT, Pentest, and Industrial Cybersecurity (OT/SCADA) .
  • System Hardening & Security: Develop cross-platform hardening scripts (Linux/Windows) compliant with international standards (ANSSI, CCN-STIC).
  • Automation & Integration: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab , and automate environment deployments using Python and Bash .
  • Innovation in Cyber-Training: Lead the integration of emerging technologies into training modules, such as AI-driven threat detection (RF, Audio, Video) and drone-based cyber-attacks.
  • Mentorship & Delivery: Act as a technical lead in training sessions, delivering high-level modules on Windows Security and network defense to institutional and military clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise:

  • Virtualization & Orchestration: Advanced mastery of VMware ESXi, Proxmox, KVM and Docker .
  • Programming & Scripting: Professional proficiency in Python , Bash, and JavaScript. Knowledge of C and Assembly (MASM32) for malware analysis/exploit dev is a strong plus.
  • Network Security: Deep understanding of IP/VoIP protocols, routing ( OSPF/BGP ), and security stack deployment (ELK, Splunk, Firewalls).
  • Systems: Expert-level administration of Linux (Debian, OpenSuse, RedHat) and Windows ecosystems.

Education & Experience:

  • Education: Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity Engineering (e.g., ENSIBS or equivalent military-grade engineering school).
  • Experience: Proven track record in a Cyber Defense Apprenticeship or similar role involving high-stakes environments (Military Academies, Aerospace, or Defense sectors).
  • Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco CCNA, and Stormshield CSNA are highly valued.

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to synthesize complex technical data for executive demonstrations.
  • Strong collaborative spirit, developed through team sports or leadership in high-pressure projects.
  • Languages: Fluency in French and English is mandatory; Spanish is a significant advantage given the location.
