A position of Head of Health, Safety and Environment (m/f) has just opened within Airbus Atlantic.

Airbus Atlantic is a major actor of Airbus with more than 15 000 employees worldwide.

The jobholder will be based in Toulouse and will report directly to the Airbus Atlantic HR Director and as such will be part of the HR leadership team.

He/ She will manage the team of HSE specialists in 7 sites in France (Meaulte, 2 sites in St Nazaire, Nantes, Merignac, Toulouse, Rochefort & Salaunes) and coordinate the subsidiaries' HSE activities in a functional way.

He/she will interface regularly with the Heads of industrial sites and the Airbus Atlantic Leadership Team.

Your main missions will be the following:

  • Elaborate and monitor the company's HSE policy,
  • Ensure its deployment and the continuity of all actions carried out,
  • Develop and promote the company's HSE culture,
  • Coordinate and lead action plans to ensure compliance with legal requirements (including but not limited to ISO14001V2015 standards)
  • Audit the sites twice per year according to the ISO 14001 V2015 and 45000 standards,
  • Ensure that the IMS is maintained in all its operational and matrix HSE components: HSE policy, regulatory monitoring, analysis of occupational risks and environmental aspects, accident and incident investigations, monitoring plan, management program, training, etc..,
  • Guarantee the maintenance of the ISO 14001 certification,
  • Monitor facilities classified as BPI,
  • Interface with the parent company on HSE aspects,
  • Bring technical support to site HSE teams,
  • Carry out a technology watch to ensure a continuous improvement of practices,
  • Ensure the regulatory monitoring and mastery of French, Tunisian, Moroccan, Canadian, Quebec and Portuguese requirements,
  • Control and comply with the REACH Regulation,
  • Design and deploy training courses

We are looking for candidates with the following experience and skills:

Significant experience (>10 years) in Health, Safety and Environment Management in a major industrial company.

Mastery of the ISO 14001V2015, ISO 45000, ISO 50001 reference systems.

Soft skills :

Stakeholder management abilities

Excellent decision-making

Ability to lead large projects

Structured and rigourous

Interpersonal skills to manage remote teams in the various locations

Clear communication and presentation skills

Dynamic and autonomous

- Level of negotiation in French and English (minimum B2 level required)

Additional requierements:

Ability to travel regularly
