Digital Product Design - Junior Product Designer

Location: London

WHO WE ARE

Accenture Song is the tech-powered creative hub within Accenture. We are a fusion of over 40 world-renowned acquisitions (from Fjord and Karmarama to Droga5 and Work & Co) continuing the design studio mentality, both creatively and culturally. We think and create across industry, for brands and businesses inspiring change – our impact is evolving the way people live, bank, shop, work, and travel. Today, our practices span Commerce, Service, Marketing and Design & Digital Products. And our team is shaped by over 65 of the sharpest creative and strategic minds in the industry, collaborating to accelerate ideas into reality.

Underpinning it all is a treasure trove of technology, data and insights powered by Accenture’s global capabilities.

Purpose

Contribute to the design of compelling digital products — supporting research, ideation, and the creation of UX and UI artefacts that help deliver meaningful experiences for users and clients.

Orientation

Learn and apply product design methods at the project level; develop proficiency in UX and UI design under the guidance of more senior designers; grow your craft, your collaboration skills, and your understanding of design within a commercial context.

Expectations

Be adventurous. Bring a vision. Make an impact. Rely on empathy. Nurture collaboration. Stay transparent. Be bold and generous in all you do.

Years of Experience

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in digital product design or a related field.

  • Exposure to UX and UI design processes, including wireframing and prototyping.

  • Awareness of design systems and component-based approaches.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Design or a related field.

Requirements

Personal

  • Bring energy, curiosity, and a genuine passion for great design.

  • Be open to feedback and committed to developing your craft through every project.

  • Have an appreciation for brand, typography, colour, and layout.

  • Demonstrate care and quality in your work at every level of fidelity.

Craft

  • Contribute to product design activities across the full lifecycle — from research and concepting through to UX flows and UI screens.

  • Create clear, well-considered design artefacts: wireframes, user flows, and UI designs.

  • Work within and contribute to design systems, maintaining visual and interaction consistency.

  • Apply accessibility guidelines and inclusive design principles to your work.

  • Prototype ideas at appropriate fidelity to support decision-making and usability testing.

Project

  • Support the design lead in delivering a workstream with quality and pace.

  • Collaborate actively with researchers, engineers, content designers, and strategists.

  • Manage your own tasks effectively within project timelines.

Client

  • Engage with client teams in a professional and collaborative way.

  • Develop confidence presenting design thinking and inviting feedback.

  • Build an understanding of client context, user needs, and business goals.

Community

  • Actively participate in studio events, design critiques, and community sessions.

  • Support more senior designers in organising and delivering team initiatives.

Skillset

  • Early-stage product design portfolio demonstrating visual craft, process, and growing range.

  • Proficiency in Figma; developing knowledge of the broader design toolchain.

  • Understanding of user research methods and how to apply findings to design decisions.

  • Awareness of accessibility guidelines and inclusive design principles.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Collaborative, team-first mindset with a desire to learn.

Portfolio Requirement

Applications without a design portfolio demonstrating craft quality, process, and relevant experience will not be considered.

What's in it for You

In addition to a competitive salary package, you will benefit from an extensive rewards offering including 25 days' annual leave, private medical insurance, and 3 additional days' leave per year for charitable work of your choice.

Flexibility and mobility are required to deliver this role. There will be a requirement to spend meaningful time on-site with clients, partners, and teams to enable delivery of the first-class experiences we are known for.

Some clients require background checks. You will need to complete a Baseline Personal Security Standard (BPSS) to confirm your identity, criminal record, right to work and residency.

Comfortable with hybrid working. Every project is different, but we love our team to be in the studio and in our client's office to work collaboratively.
