Job Purpose
Directly responsible for the leadership and management of a team of Advisors, focussed on delivering outstanding operational performance and customer satisfaction.
Providing excellent performance management and coaching to team members to ensure delivery of business targets and objectives.
Jointly accountable for the overall performance of Developer Services activities.
Ensure the Health and Safety of all employees at all times.
Supporting people to develop and maximise team and individual performance potential whilst working in the best interest of the company.
Ensuring compliance with processes in relation to correspondence, applications and all related follow up.
Ensuring work and customer contacts are correctly managed, recorded, responded to and allocated appropriately within service levels.
What You Will Doing:
- Lead, manage and motivate the team to achieve strong performance at both individual and team levels, fostering a high‑performance culture.
- Coach and develop team members through regular feedback, Performance Development Plans (PDPs), and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) in line with HR policies.
- Proactively manage attendance, wellbeing and performance issues using company support mechanisms, early interventions and occupational health where required.
- Take ownership of escalated issues and ensure effective resolution to maintain service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Be responsible for team recruitment, training, assessment and development, while collaborating with peers, internal stakeholders and third parties across functions.
What We Looking For:
- Proactively manage team productivity, priorities and KPIs to achieve high‑quality outputs aligned with UU vision, values, scorecard and regulatory obligations.
- Embed processes and maximise use of business tools, identify improvement opportunities, manage risks, and lead responses to site incidents and escalations.
- Provide strong people leadership by setting clear expectations, conducting effective performance management, holding open and honest conversations, and acting as a positive role model.
- Ensure clear two‑way communication by keeping the team informed, gathering feedback, supporting change, and working collaboratively across Developer Services and the wider Customer directorate.
- Maintain accountability for personal performance and development, support customer‑facing activity when required, share best practice, and demonstrate flexibility with a proactive, “can‑do” approach.
