Job Description

Join our dynamic Team in Sydney as Pre, Post & Overland Executive. In this role, you will coordinate the day-to-day operational delivery of our Land Program tours within our cruise ground handling business including pre-cruise, post-cruise and overland programs. You will coordinate supplier bookings, hotel accommodation, transport, tour directors/guides and on-the-ground logistics, while liaising with key stakeholders such as port authorities, cruise line clients and local suppliers to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services is a specialist business providing cruise ship handling services to cruise lines in destinations throughout the world. You will be working closely with various cruise lines and their clients in their daily operations around Australia.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Coordinate end-to-end operational planning for pre-cruise, post-cruise and overland programs.
  • Arrange hotel accommodation allocations, rooming lists, special requests and check-in/out requirements in line with cruise line standards and guest needs.
  • Coordinate transport providers (coaches, transfers, luggage movements) including schedules, pickup points, timings and contingency options for operational changes.
  • Liaise with port authorities, cruise line contacts and local suppliers to align on operational requirements, access, timings and any port-specific constraints.
  • Prepare and distribute operational documentation (itineraries, supplier confirmations, manifests/rooming lists, guide briefs and contact sheets) to internal teams and partners.
  • Monitor delivery and handle day-of operational issues (delays, no-shows, itinerary changes, weather disruptions) by implementing solutions and escalating where required.
  • Capture operational feedback, complete post-program checks and support continuous improvement.
  • Plan and update suppliers on confirmed bookings and send all relevant information ahead of guest arrival.
  • Book Tour Directors and Guides as per requirements for each operational day and ensure all relevant documentation is created and shared.
  • Work closely with the Port Operations Manager by providing all relevant feedback obtained during operation.

ABOUT YOU

  • Have a methodical, organized approach towards the execution of assigned tasks with a high level of accuracy.
  • The ability to use MS Office tools such as Excel, Teams, One Note & Outlook to high standards.
  • Is comfortable leading change and resilient to ambiguity or setbacks.
  • Solve problems independently and/or make suggestions how to improve ways of working.
  • A genuinely helpful, flexible, and professional personality.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
  • The ability to work in Australia for a 6-month, full time role.
  • Previous experience in travel/tourism is advantageous.
  • This job requires travelling to different ports in Australia including weekends.
