Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Senior Product Specialist at our Newtown Square, PA location to responsible for driving the awareness and adoption of SAP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools, which include the products SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Focused Run, and transition from SAP Solution Manager to SAP Cloud ALM.
Expectations and Tasks:
Engage with customers, partners and colleagues across the region, on strategic discussions on SAP’s ALM products and roadmaps, and execute various initiatives to drive the adoption of SAP’s ALM tools in the region. Responsible for SAP Focused Run overview, positioning workshop, and architecture discussions including the creation of the proposal, and licensing based on variants for customers and partners. Act as expert for operations area in the ALM applications for the region. Drive the Internal and external campaigns for LoB-specific solutions. Engage in strategic discussions with customers to understand their ALM needs and propose the tools accordingly. Responsible for generating customer references across the region. Devise and implement social media strategies aimed at promoting SAP ALM tools and events. Create compelling content to engage the community and generate interest in ALM solutions. Drive outbound product management efforts, focusing on customer references and success stories. Collaborate with customers to create testimonials and case studies showcasing the impact of SAP ALM tools on their business. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment with customer needs and market trends. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to provide insights for continuous improvement of SAP ALM tools.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Experience must include four (4) years involving each of the following:
SAP Focused Run implementation engaged in Presales, including support and rollout across the region;
Transitioning customers from SAP Solution Manager to SAP Cloud ALM or SAP Focused Run;
Technical configurations of SAP Focused Run for capabilities including Technical Monitoring, Integration Monitoring, Business Process Monitoring, Business process improvement, and Data volume management;
SAP Cloud ALM implementation including Project management, Task management, Quality gates, Requirements, User stories, Test Management, and tracking projects;
SAP Cloud ALM integrations to Jira, ServiceNow incident management, or Slack;
SAP Cloud ALM operations integrations to BPA, IRPA, Autopilot, and Business Process workflow management;
SAP Cloud ALM integration with SAP Signavio and SAP Lean IX for Integrated tool chain; and
Setup and configuration of SAP Cloud ALM.
Travel: Position requires up to 50% domestic and international travel to SAP offices, customer and partner sites, and conferences to implement enablements and trainings and to ensure customer and partner delivery of SAP solutions.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $143,792 - $244,464. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $163,400 - $277,800. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
