The mission of the Partner Delivery Innovation team is to empower SAP partners to fully deliver the Autonomous Enterprise for SAP customers, unlocking true business value from their SAP investment. As a Partner Delivery Manager (PDM) you will play a critical role in driving customer success across the SAP Autonomous Suite, through and with our partners. You will guide partners on their SAP delivery practice development journey, building their delivery capacity and capabilities across the Suite, enabling them to fully leverage SAP methodologies and the Integrated Toolchain, embedding AI both within their own consulting practice and in their customer transformation programs.
The role combines responsibilities of managing partner relationships and overseeing their delivery development and execution, with a special focus on Cloud ERP and the SAP Business AI Platform. You will also facilitate alignment between partners’ delivery teams and SAP teams to mitigate risks and support successful adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner Relationship & Delivery Management:
- Serve as the central advisor to partners for their SAP delivery practice development and their delivery execution
- Drive regular business reviews with partners to assess their delivery performance across success metrics, and initiate corrective actions where necessary
- Innovation & Business Transformation:
- Monitor and develop partner delivery capacity and capabilities as per defined business plans, ensuring continuous delivery practice development
- Act as the transformation partner, provide adoption guidance, ensuring partners fully adopt latest SAP methodology and tools (i.e. Integrated Toolchain) across their delivery
- Drive adoption of SAP Business AI platform both within the partners’ own practices as well as in their customer projects.
- Guide partners to support their customers’ transformation journey by fully adopting the SAP Autonomous Suite.
- Collaboration & Alignment:
- Work closely with customer success and adoption teams, as well as with the broader Partner Ecosystem organization to ensure cohesive partner development and execution.
- Facilitate resolution of escalations, ensuring successful go-lives.
- Ensure partners understand and fully leverage SAP services and support offering
- Ensure transparency into partners’ delivery execution both internally (i.e. HPI or other relevant internal systems) and towards customers (Competency Framework)
What You Bring:
- Experience & Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in customer/partner facing roles within the software or technology industry.
- Implementation experience with SAP Cloud ERP / SAP Cloud ERP Private
- Good understanding of SAP Business AI platform and the Integrated Toolchain (i.e. Cloud ALM, Singavio, LeanIX)
- Good understanding of the broader SAP Autonomous Suite scope.
- Experience in structuring and executing strategic business development programs across cross functional teams.
- Education & Certification:
- Bachelor's degree required. An MBA or similar advanced degree would be a plus.
- Relevant certifications in SAP project management or Cloud ERP.
- Soft Skills:
- Experience in handling C-level engagements for driving value realization.
- Solid communication and influencing skills in English. German or any other language from Central and Eastern Europe are a plus.
- Proven ability to manage complex partner and customer escalations in a diplomatic and efficient manner and ensure alignment of cross functional teams towards resolution.
- Ability to think strategically, demonstrate business acumen, promote continuous learning and development, and engage as a coach/guide
