Meet your team

The SAP Field Team will provide you the opportunity to learn and gain experience in the E2E sales process of SAP and to have a basic understanding of the Hungarian IT and business market. Our Interns work closely with the Sales team, Customer Advisory Team and Marketing team to coordinate efforts and provide comprehensive solutions to clients. You will have the opportunity to have a bi-weekly 1:1 with the Managing Director of SAP Hungary to track your development progress.

What you’ll do

Position title: SAP iXp Intern – Sales

Location: Budapest, Hungary

Expected time schedule: at least 24 hours/week

Duration: min. 12 months

  • Learn B2B Sales techniques: We will include you in complex sales cycles of B2B business and you'll learn various sales techniques such as cold calling, lead generation, building customer relationships, effective communication, objection handling, and closing deals. You'll learn negotiation strategies and techniques for closing deals while maintaining a win-win situation for both parties.
  • Dedicated Sales Team and onboarding program: You will be dedicated to a Sales Team to shadow a Senior Sales professional on a daily basis, and you have to complete an E2E sales learning program.
  • Dedicated Mentor: You will be assigned to a sales professional to have the chance get advice on all open tasks, different customer related situations and career development.
  • Learn SAP strategic products and services: You'll be trained on SAP’s strategic products, their features, benefits, and how they solve customer problems. You will understand the technical aspects of our solutions so later you can effectively communicate with potential customers. You might research competitors, identify potential Customers, and analyze market needs.
  • Learn SAP Sales Tools: You'll learn to use Harmony Quote software for managing sales opportunities, tracking progress and make basic administrations.
  • Learn presentation Skills: You'll develop presentation skills to effectively showcase the Solutions to our Customers. This might involve creating presentations and delivering them in person or virtually.
  • Networking: You'll have the opportunity to attend SAP events (like SAPNOW), conferences, and customer meetings to network with professionals and Customers.
