Job Overview:
As the HCM Community Engagement & Events Specialist, you will support the SAP SuccessFactors Brand & Events team within the HCM CMO organization to help enrich the customer experience through communication management of the online HCM Customer Community and project management support for our HCM events.
This role will be responsible for three main areas of support and execution: 1) online community page management and associated customer newsletters in line with HCM content strategy 2) customer and influencer community insights analysis and distribution 3) project management support for events and advisory boards that are executed by our global HCM marketing team.
This job requires a self-driven, get-it-done personality who demonstrates strong communication skills, a high attention to detail, strategic thinking, executive presence, proactiveness, and accountability when it comes to responsibilities and deadlines.
Responsibilities/Tasks of Role:
HCM Customer Community
- Assist in the development and maintenance of a content marketing plan and editorial calendar for customer newsletters and online community boards/pages.
- Support the creation of engaging and shareable content for the community portal, including contributions to monthly newsletters, homepage videos, and other promotional materials.
- Collaborate with SAP Community stakeholders to help gather and interpret web traffic data using key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collect and relay community feedback to HCM management and other relevant stakeholders.
- Help identify potential marketing and outreach opportunities that support brand visibility and product promotion.
- Coordinate with HCM stakeholder teams to stay informed on upcoming products, services, and features to support strategic promotion within the HCM community.
- Provide support by responding to comments and customer queries as needed, ensuring timely and helpful communication.
Events & Advisory Boards
- Support the SAP SuccessFactors events team with project management and execution of key 3rd party events and advisory boards.
- Maintain a calendar of HCM events for the year and consolidate reporting for executive updates.
- Lead regular status updates across event types, ensuring HCM stakeholders are kept up to date.
- Develop and maintain internal and external facing event websites providing key information and resources to relevant audiences.
- Manage the financial processes for 3rd party events and advisory boards, including raising POs as appropriate and ongoing budget tracking.
- Conduct competitive analysis of key competitors’ event presence to inform future strategies.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted annual combined range for this position is $15-$58(USD). The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
