Overview

We are seeking a visionary SAP Business AI Architect to drive the strategy, design, and implementation of AI capabilities across our SAP eco-system. This candidate will possess deep technical and cross-industry expertise, architectural leadership, and strong business engagement skills to deliver measurable AI‑driven outcomes at scale.

The candidate will shape and execute our AI first vision — leveraging SAP BDC, SAP BTP, SAP AI Core, generative AI capabilities, S/4HANA embedded AI, industry-leading AI frameworks, and modern engineering practices to transform business processes and unlock new value streams.

Key Responsibilities

Business Leadership

  • Engage confidently with C-level stakeholders to shape AI strategy and influence transformation roadmaps.

  • Translate complex AI concepts into clear business value narratives.

  • Bring strong industry insight to contextualize AI solutions for real-world impact.

Services & Consulting

  • Ability to deliver projects in a remote-first consulting environment when required.

  • Work across regional teams with very strong professional English communication.

AI & SAP Architecture

  • Architect and implement AI solutions within SAP systems to enhance business processes and decision-making.

  • Identify high‑value use cases and design AI solutions that deliver proven business outcomes.

  • Define and execute SAP BTP & SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) architecture strategies.

  • Design and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performing AI powered applications on SAP BTP.

  • Utilize SAP BTP services such as SAP Generative AI Hub, SAP AI Core, SAP AI Business Services, SAP Integration Suite etc to develop innovative solutions.

  • Develop and manage APIs and microservices using SAP BTP tools for seamless integration across SAP and non-SAP systems.

  • Leverage SAP BTP capabilities for data orchestration, analytics, and machine learning model deployment.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI integration and automation within SAP landscapes.

  • Optimize SAP systems for AI-driven analytics, predictive insights, and real-time decision-making.

  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security standards, and SAP best practices.

  • Stay updated on emerging AI technologies in SAP and non SAP solutions to drive innovation.

  • Architect data pipelines leveraging SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Data Intelligence, SAP Analytics Cloud, vector engines, and knowledge graph technologies.

  • Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping, building, and scaling AI‑driven automation and decision‑support capabilities.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 10+ years in senior technical customer facing roles.

  • Relevant certifications, such as SAP Generative AI Developer or non SAP equivalent

  • Proven experience as an SAP Architect with strong expertise in AI, ML and GenAI

  • Hands-on experience with Joule and SAP Generative AI capabilities

  • Strong proficiency in modern AI/ML frameworks

  • Knowledge of SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Data Intelligence, SAP BDC, SAP Analytics Cloud, vector search engines, and knowledge graph technologies.

  • Experience with non‑SAP AI and cloud technologies

  • Strong business process understanding and ability to map AI solutions to real business problems.

Location

This position can be considered in other countries within EMEA region.
