Job Description

We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

About the team

Our Product Marketing team sits at the intersection of Product, Sales, and Marketing, owning the end-to-end go-to-market—from market research, segmentation, and competitive intelligence to positioning, messaging, launch planning, and ongoing sales enablement.

We translate customer insights into clear, compelling narratives and programs that differentiate our products, drive adoption, and accelerate revenue. The team partners closely with Product to shape roadmaps, with Sales and Customer Success to equip teams with the right stories and tools, and with Growth and Brand to orchestrate integrated campaigns.

We’re customer-obsessed, data-informed, and highly collaborative, moving quickly, testing and iterating to learn what works. You’ll join a supportive, curious group that values diverse perspectives and gives you ownership of high-impact initiatives while investing in your growth.

What you will build:

  • Own a dedicated product area in the Supply Chain Planning portfolio and help drive related product marketing topics for the area.
  • Contribute to the creation of content assets including blogs, presentations, customer-facing collateral, case studies, and social media postings.
  • Support presentations at SAP events and relevant webinars.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends and feed insights into positioning and campaign development.
  • Help coordinate go-to-market activities, including campaign planning and execution in collaboration with global marketing and sales teams.
  • Support preparation of launch moments by determining what to communicate, when, and through which channels.
  • Assist in developing a comprehensive marketing plan for the product area.
  • Support the pricing/commercial definition of the product area.
  • Develop product tours and product videos.
  • Learn to analyze content performance (engagement metrics, digital KPIs) and contribute to recommendations for content optimization.
  • Partner with stakeholders to collect customer success stories and collaborate on storytelling formats to drive awareness and adoption.
  • Contribute to project management tasks for marketing initiatives, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Translate insights into compelling recommendations and actionable strategies.
  • Create high-quality presentations and reports to communicate findings and proposals to leadership.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to gather input, validate assumptions, and support decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate closely with other product marketing colleagues across supply chain and business network solutions to ensure portfolio-wide consistency in messaging.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • First professional experience (internships or 2–3 years) in product marketing, content marketing, strategy, or related business roles, ideally in technology or B2B environments.
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills with an ability to capture complex topics in a clear, engaging way.
  • Creative thinker with an interest in content creation (written, visual, or digital formats).
  • Analytical mindset and willingness to learn how to evaluate KPIs and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with digital collaboration, presentation, and productivity tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, data visualization and AI creation tools, or content publishing systems).
  • Ability to work in an international, cross-functional team environment with strong collaboration skills.
  • Resilient self-starter who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow into a product marketing career.
  • Fluency in German and English; additional languages are a plus.

What we offer:

  • Experience state-of-the-art product marketing management in a leading technology company.
  • Exposure to senior leadership and strategic decision-making processes.
  • Opportunities to grow your career in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • A supportive and collaborative team culture.
