YOUR FUTURE ROLE

As part of the SAP Transformation Hub, you will be working with seasoned Enterprise Architects (many with 20+ years of experience) to shape our customers' transformations and their journey to becoming an Intelligent Enterprise. This is an exceptional opportunity for a steep learning curve, as you can tap into the vast experience of the people you will be working with.


In an onboarding phase, you will be learning about SAP`s Enterprise Architecture approach. Together with your colleagues in the Transformation Hub, you will be

  • applying the methodology to develop transformation strategies that are aligned with our customer's business and IT
  • evaluating and defining future IT landscapes based on the latest SAP product & innovation portfolio and roadmaps jointly with our customer's transformation teams
  • involved in refining and evolving architecture service content & methodologies


The role will combine customer facing service deliveries with activities for internal enablement, delivery support and concept work.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Quickly gain deeper knowledge on SAP’s product & innovation portfolio and methodologies to deploy them when transforming architectures
  • Grow into delivering architecture services to SAP’s global customer base
  • Document architecture artifacts in SAP LeanIX
  • Refine and evolve the service methodology which includes documentation and collection of learnings from the deliveries for re-use by the service development groups, to further improve the service concepts and service content
  • Develop enablement materials like videos or e-learning
  • Develop a network within SAP Services as well as SAP Engineering, build up strategic working relationship across multiple global locations

YOUR PROFILE

  • An excellent degree in computer science, business administration or engineering
  • First knowledge on relevant industry processes in areas of Finance, Sales & Marketing, Purchasing, Manufacturing or any other LoB
  • Understanding the link from Digital Transformations to evolving IT Landscapes & solutions
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and out-of-the box thinking
  • Ability to structure and document methodologies and visualize complex structures (in whitepapers, presentations)
  • Willingness to travel to the locations of our customers on occasion
  • Fluent written and spoken English language skills

Preferred skills

  • First exposure to the SAP Business Solution and Technology Portfolio is a benefit
  • Ideally first relevant industrial experience that you have gained through training, internships or working student activities
  • Fluency in German is a strong plus


ABOUT THE TEAM

The Transformation Hub within the Enterprise Architecture Excellence group is designed to enable an advanced, scalable way of delivering relevant enterprise architecture guidance to customers as well as the SAP front-office teams, covering all architecture layers from business down to technical architecture and infrastructure.


We ensure a supportive onboarding building on a buddy system and mentoring. Our team is distributed on three primary locations in the US, Germany and India, and we highly value a collaborative team spirit and fun in what we do, although we take customer success very seriously.


We are part of the Customer Engagement & Adoption organization within the Customer Success board area is the key driver for adoption, expansion and renewals for cloud and hybrid customer landscapes. This happens by ensuring a positive end-to-end customer experience while maximizing the value for the customer.


You will be involved in any decision affecting your work. We try to balance customer-related work with internal tasks, although our clear focus is the customer.
